Contemporary Istanbul is an esteemed international art fair, positioning the city as a pivotal hub for contemporary art on the global stage. Now in its 19th edition, the fair convenes a diverse array of galleries, artists, collectors, curators, and academics from across the world. Established in 2006 as the 21st art fair globally, Contemporary Istanbul has grown to stand among over 350 art fairs worldwide, evolving into a significant "Soft Power" brand that enhances both the perception of the city and Turkey in the international art arena. Since its inception, Contemporary Istanbul has partnered with Akbank as its principal sponsor, consistently welcoming global participants at Tersane Istanbul. The fair continues to fulfill its mission of fostering cultural dialogue and exchange between distinct regions, guided by its core principle of collective strength.
